Thank you for your interest in serving with Su Casa! There are many different positions and times available to volunteer.
ADULT ENGLISH CLASSES
Classes are Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:15-10:45 A.M and 6:30-8 P.M. Volunteers can either serve with adults in English Classes or with their children in the programming we provide during class times (Su Casa Kids). Both are vital roles! No Spanish or education background is required and training is provided for all volunteer positions.
Adult English Volunteer Opportunities:
Lead Teacher - weekly commitment
Assistant Teacher - weekly commitment
Substitute Teacher - as needed when available

Su Casa Kids Volunteer Opportunities:
Volunteer with babies, toddlers or elementary students - weekly commitment
Substitute - as needed when available
Our toddlers work on their reading and motor skills, while our elementary students work on sight words. Volunteers also provide homework help for those who need it. Each group has a Bible lesson, and of course some play time!
ESPERANZA EARLY CHILDHOOD CENTER
Classes are Monday through Thursday from 8:30 A.M. - 2:30 P.M.
Provide Childcare on a Monday evening during Parent Meetings
Sponsor and prepare Snack Time or Lunchtime for a classroom
Read one-on-one with a student or to the whole classroom
Lead games and play with the students during Recess
Help Decorate a classroom for that month’s theme
