We do not currently offer classes during the summer months.
Our students come to us from all over the world to improve their conversational English. 99% of our students are native Spanish speakers who have recently arrived in the United States. Others have been here for years and want to learn more!

Cost
Semester Total (4 months of classes) $125 per person
At just $31/month, our English program remains one of the most affordable structured adult ESL opportunities in Memphis.
Classes are taught by volunteers who are native English speakers from many different areas. Su Casa provides the teachers with the materials needed for the class and the teachers come with a willing heart to share their time and language skills with you!
Curriculum
Intercambio’s Confidence and Connections curriculum helps volunteer teachers and students learn together and make connections while students practice and improve their English. It focuses on English for day-to-day living, so students gain confidence in the most important conversations with other members of the community, such as employers, doctors, or their children’s teachers.
Some students make s'mores for the first time during our Calendar Party, where students learn about the various American holidays associated with each month.
